After finishing law school she became a law clerk for the United States Court of Appeals in Kansas. She resigned after a couple of years to go on to work as a lawyer within New York City. She became a specialist in Corporate Law when she took on the new job. In 1998, she was on T.V. numerous times discussing her thoughts on the Bill Clinton scandal and impeachment and quickly became a household word. After the scandal broke, she published her debut book High Crimes & Misdemeanors : The Case against Bill Clinton. In 1998 she was also accused with plagiarism. She has written more than twelve books which have sold in excess of three million copies. The author has not been married and did not have children, even though she was engaged several times.
